文風(fēng)都有一個(gè)時(shí)尚性間題,這不是追求“時(shí)維”,而是為確保高度的傳播效果。深圳翻譯公司從事翻譯應(yīng)該記住劉招在《文心雕龍》里說的,時(shí)運(yùn)交移,文風(fēng)要“與世推移”,不可墨守一格(《文心雌龍·時(shí)序》)。
英譯漢還有一個(gè)比較特殊的問題要心中有數(shù)。我們用白話文翻譯的時(shí)間并不長,如果從民國初期算起,歷史不過百年。近代白話文與當(dāng)代白話文雖然就整體上說并無二致,但二者在成熟的程度上差別還是很顯著的,具體表現(xiàn)為結(jié)構(gòu)詞(特別是“著”、“了”、“過’〕和人稱代詞的準(zhǔn)確使用、流水句段的自然安排、遣詞構(gòu)句的社會(huì)接受(如被動(dòng)句的使用)等等方面.當(dāng)代漢語都有顯著的改進(jìn)。我們舉一個(gè)例子:張谷若是哈代原著知名的翻譯大師.張譯在20世紀(jì)五六十年代以前仍可謂“無懈可擊”。但時(shí)代發(fā)展了,文風(fēng)演進(jìn)了。深圳翻譯公司四級(jí)新題考試要考下面是張譯《苔絲》中的一段:

who, she found, was forking the same plot as herself, and

the work. She became more conscious of him when the

visible to each other but divided from all the rest.
